Leaving the post of Senior Dental Officer in Portsmouth City, John became the practice principal at Royal Terrace Dental Practice in 1997. Under his leadership, the practice has expanded to its current form, achieving notable awards such as BDA Good Practice in 2004 and Denplan Excel in 2007, which reflect the high standards we uphold in our dental services in Dorchester.
After qualifying from Newcastle University in 1991, John spent three years in specialist hospital training at several of the major oncology (cancer) and trauma units across the country.
John actively supports dental implant and sedation services, as well as Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery cases, in addition to managing the practice and caring for his regular list of patients. He is currently the chairman of the Local Dental Committee Dorset and has previously served as the chairman of the West Dorset Section of the British Dental Association.
Residing in Dorchester, John enjoys cycling around the local countryside. He is also a PADI recreational diving instructor and an expedition diver.
Tim became a dentist in 1998 after earning his BDS from the University of Wales. He is now the vice chair of the dental committee Dorset and is enjoying his more active role within the Committee, contributing to the improvement of dental services in Dorchester. Tim also has great respect for his colleague, John Cobley, a prominent dentist in the area.
